I am interdisciplinary by temperament, training and pursuit. My core discipline is English Literature. My interest areas are Cultural Studies, Psychoanalysis, Feminism and History. I have explored the intersecting spaces of Literature & History, and Literature & Psychology in my doctoral and MPhil research respectively. I am also a trained, and practicing Psychological Counselor. I enjoy doing translations of technical nature, especially in the field of psychology research. My current research focus in my core discipline is Trauma studies, History of Indian Partition, Partition literature, migration and cultural studies in the urban context. Apart from this, I am passionate about studies of philosophical nature and study of religions.
