Amul Sakharkar currently works at the Department of Biotechnology, Savitribai Phule Pune University. Amul does research in Neurology, Neuroscience and Cell Biology. Major areas of research includes traumatic brain injury, reward and memory and gut microbiome-brain axis. His laboratory is extensively using cell and molecular biology techniques with bioinformatics tools to discern the neural mechanisms.
